Welcome to The Stay Original Company, proud owners of a portfolio of special boutique hotels and inns around South West England. We bought and renovated our first property in Wedmore back in 2011 and have since added more in Somerton, Bradford on Avon, Shaftesbury, Dorchester and Bruton, creating well-loved, award-winning pubs and hotels. We love interesting buildings and interesting people.

We’re Stay Original by name and highly original by nature – creating places where people can hang out in style, eating and drinking delicious things. We look forward to being of service.

Stay Original Co began life in 2011 with The Swan in Wedmore. We bought a semi-derelict pub dying on its feet and completely rebuilt it to become an award-winning coaching inn appealing to locals and travellers alike.
